Residential Care

We offer Residential Care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in a warm and friendly environment. We provide as much or as little assistance as each of our residents requires, supporting individuals who are finding it difficult to manage a household, care for themselves at home or enjoy being in the company of others who share a similar age and interests.

Each of our residents has a personalised care plan that outlines all of their care needs and preferences. Valerian Court Care Home is a warm and inviting luxury home providing a hotel feel where residents can enjoy living in a community of like-minded people with ample opportunity to pursue their daily hobbies whilst receiving around-the-clock Residential Care.

Dementia Care

We recognise that individuals living with dementia require specialised care, and so our staff is highly-trained and certified to deal with all aspects of dementia.

The staff at our nursing home are continually developing their knowledge to ensure that each of our residents receives the best possible care; allowing us to deliver care that is entirely tailored to our residents’ needs, interests and abilities.

Our friendly team is also on hand to support friends, family and loved ones and provide them with peace of mind that their loved ones are well-cared for.

Nursing Care

Our highly qualified and compassionate staff here at Valerian Court Care Home provides around-the-clock Nursing Care to residents with high dependency needs, physical disabilities and, when necessary, professional palliative care.

We use the “key nursing” method in which each resident is assigned a nurse who gets to know them on a personal level and who is responsible for the execution and scheduling of their care. Residents and their families will always know who to go to and our team has a huge amount of clinical experience so will be able to assist with a variety of questions or concerns.

Respite Care

Our Respite Care option is ideal for those looking for short-term care to obtain relief from care duties, gain a better understanding of our facilities and services, and meet our team.

If you are looking for a break from caring for a loved one, Valerian Court will provide you with a warm, inviting and supportive environment leaving you to recharge for however long you need.

Respite care can last anywhere from a couple of weeks to many months and can be scheduled or supplied on an emergency basis. Like our other types of care, a pre-admission assessment will be carried out alongside creating a unique care plan so that we can provide the most appropriate level of care.

Palliative Care

Within our care home in Didcot, we provide an unwavering dedication to those of our residents receiving palliative care. Our team of devoted care professionals collaborates seamlessly with a diverse range of experts to effectively address the unique needs of our palliative care residents.
