Preparing our Rooftop Garden for our Summer Opening

As we prepare for the opening of Valerian Court Care Home later this summer, work continues to progress and finishing touches are being added. Part of our newly-built, all-inclusive home is our Rooftop Garden, a large, secure space designed to give residents opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.

As well as a ground floor garden and a patio, residents of Valerian Court will be able to enjoy the south-facing rooftop which offers stunning views across the peaceful town of Didcot. Relatives will also be invited to use the space when visiting and catching up with their loved ones.

We know how important it is to offer residents areas where they can grab fresh air and soak up some vitamin D, which is why we have purposely allowed for this in the design of our new care home.

With raised planters, potted flowers, and comfortable seating, our Rooftop Garden provides the perfect place to relax with a good book and cup of tea, socialise with fellow residents or relatives, or even enjoy a spot of gardening.

Whether it's our Rooftop Garden, Cafe, Cinema, or any of our other high-end facilities, we welcome residents to make use of everything our home has to offer. With a weekly activities programme planned too, residents will never be short of things to see and do in and around our home.
