Valentine’s Fun at Valerian Court

Unsurprisingly, the past week has seen a lot of red and hearts decorated all over the home.

Residents have enjoyed making & eating "Love Letters", crafting window hearts, sitting in the "window of love", completing Valentine's themed activity books and playing heart-themed ping pong ball and bean bag toss games out on the rooftop garden where the sun was shining for a bit of friendly competition.

Romance was certainly in the air as one of our gents took the arm of a Unit Leader and marched her down the aisle (corridor) while humming "Dum, dum, der der"! 

Residents reminisced about loved ones and the special days and moments that they've shared over the years. 

Our activities team goes above and beyond to provide residents with creative activities every week as well as for special days of the year which helps to improve their physical and mental well-being.
