We know that visitors may come from various places and won’t all have access to a car. Below, we have described the best ways to reach our home on The Broadway, OX11 8ET from Oxford, Reading and Gloucester using public transport.

Visitors coming from Oxford can reach us by taking the Great Western Railway train to Didcot Parkway station. From here, they can either walk or get a taxi to reach our home. In total, the journey will take just under 30 minutes. If you prefer taking the bus, you can reach us using the X32 route from St Aldates to Oxford Centre. This would take just over 50 minutes in total.

If you are travelling from Reading, the most direct route would be to take the Great Western Railway train to Cardiff Central and get off at Didcot Parkway station. You are then less than a mile from Valerian Court, so we would recommend walking or getting a taxi. In total, this would take about 30 minutes.

The journey from Gloucester to Valerian Court would take about 1 hour and 20 minutes by taking the Great Western Railway service to London Paddington and getting off at Didcot Parkway Station. From here, you are only a 14-minute walk away from our Didcot care home.
